Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in IRAQ and Afghanistan. As a soldier I served my battalion by completing over 150 convoys transporting needed supplies to the forward units without having any casualties. As a civilian I served in Afghanistan as a Safety Officer. I was responsible for the health and safety of four camps consisting of over 4000 Military and civilian personnel.

How are you Still Serving?

I am still serving my community as I am currently the Commander of VFW 3176. I enjoy having the opportunity to help veterans in my community.

Why do you do it?

I enjoy making someone’s life a little better. I enjoy seeing the smiling faces of veterans that served before me.
