Why do you do it?
Pine Grove Baptist Church, greeter. I welcome people to our church. Also perform duties as a member of our Safety and Security team. My church has a Monday shut in program. I serve as a cook, dish washer and clean up guy. We also deliver meals to those on our shut in list. American Legion, Post 5, 2nd Vice Commander. Post 5 was closed during the COVID outbreak. There were several things left unattended during that time. Bank accounts, gas, electric and water accounts were over due. With the leadership of William Sloan the Post is now operating in professional manner. Accounts are up to date. We have a positive operating account. Roof has been replaced. Kitchen has been remodeled. I am proud to have helped in a small way. I am learning more about the VA and helping Veterans in need of treatment and assistance.
