Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the Navy from 1993 to 20213 I received my eligibility from Kosovo. I started out as a Boiler Technician until they made us all Machinist Mates. I served on 4 ships integrating females on 2 of them. I spent 14 of my 20 yrs on sea duty. I was on the Mt. Whitney, Kearsarge, Nassau, and Abraham Lincoln. Unfortunately upon retirement I also received 100% disability. I got Cooper through K-9 for Veterans and he helps me when my blood pressure drops and my Vertigo.

Cooper helps me have confidence I can make it through the day he will always be there to catch me.

Why do you do it?

Our benefits are always at risk of being taken away. We have to band together and let Washington to know that we won’t tolerate their broken promises.
