Where did you serve and what did you do?
Serve in US Air Force started out as a 605 change over to 2T2. Served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm with 1st Mobile Aerial Post Squadron
How are you #StillServing?
I am now a District 1 Commander in Charleston SC. I love helping our Veterans and community. My Post Commander William (Bill) King and myself present a Life Saving Award to a City of Charleston Police Officer Kyle Skeels. Officer Skeels responded to a call about a man preparing to jump off a bridge. Officer Skeels tried talking to him but when the man proceed to climb over the railing he reacted and grabbed the man and pulled him to safety. This man happens to be a veteran and Officers Skeels prevented our suicided numbers from going up.
Why do you do it?
Commander King and I care about our veterans and community with all of our hearts and we are always looking for our next mission in servicing. Our Past State Commander Ted Tufts and Auxiliary District President were in attendance to show our support. The award ceremony was also witness by the Mayor of Charleston John Tecklenburg and Police Chief Luther T. Reynolds and several city council members and his fellow officers
