Where did you serve and what did you do?

Vietnam 1969, Military Intelligence interigator. Took care of injured troops Zama Hospital, Japan. Tried by humor to eleviate their thinking about their wounds.

Tell us how you’re giving back to your community.

For 28 years and five months taking care of underprivileged children and families in Northern Nevada. Emergency food, school supplies, athletic gear, musical instruments, reading materials, shoes, school clothes, bicycles, underwear, local restaurants, S.F. Giants baseball games free for 20 years, and trips to Discovery Kingdom. They said I made the best chicken sandwiches in the area.

Why do you do it?

To show the less fortunate children that someone cares about them with the only cost to them is please and thank you.
