Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

I am a VFW officer and when our Vietnam Memorial float was on its last leg we I decided to start building a new one… Through a long process my mom and I traced back KIA veterans from our county all the way back to War of 1812 for our new Memorial Day float. Every year that float is pulled in the Memorial Day Parade where my dog and I accompany it on our motorcycle and sidecar (I’m President of 9th district VFW Riders Ohio). He has gotten famous in the news papers over the years and defiantly brings a lot of attention to our local VFW.

Why do you do it?

To honor veteran from our past, my own fellow veterans and to build a legacy for our future veteran.
