Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

My dog helps me with mobility and mental health. He’s been with me for 9 years and without him I don’t feel able to go out in public. I’m in the process of training another dog since he’s aging. Without a service dog, there are many things that I wouldn’t be able to achieve and I’m out there living.

Why do you do it?

I like to connect with and help my fellow veterans. I’m active in my local community with several veterans groups.
