Where did you serve and what did you do?

My dog, Flash, is a Bassett Hound so people love to see his big ears and his droopy eyes. When people see him their faces light up. Flash helps me on the Wayward Warrior Ranch. At the Wayward Warrior Ranch we help veterans and first responders that are dealing with PTSD after they’ve served. They come out for equine therapy and they can meet with like-minded people that have served.
Why do you do it?
When I separated from the army after almost 8 years I had a really tough time adjusting to civilian life. Finally someone got me into church and someone else invited me to volunteer on the ranch. After I had the love of Jesus in my heart and the ability to help other veterans with horses I knew I wanted to share those experiences with other veterans and people that had served. That’s why I found it the Wayward Warrior Ranch.
