Where did you serve and what did you do?

Mostly based out of Japan, but also a tour in the Gulf, recruiting in Michigan, and a tour with Naval Beach Group 1 out of San Diego

How are you Still Serving?

On the Day of Service I helped with our City cleanup. I also helped connect those organizing the cleanup (our City Beautification Committee) with other people and organizations to make the cleanups more sustainable going forward (other local service organizations and the District Court’s Veterans Intervention Program among others).

Why do you do it?

I enjoy leveraging what I learned to help out in my hometown. It feels dang good to be part of teams of people who are just trying to make things better.
