Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

Scout went with me to BSA pack/troop meetings, campouts, service projects and was part of my son’s and I troop. I also coached the FIU Rugby team and Scout comes to all the practices and games. Now, she’s 11. We’re both retired and sit on the sidelines of every game and ALL the player say hello to Scout. I walk her everyday for years around my high school track and she has become the unofficial mascot of the Coral Park, HS, sports teams who call her by name and entice her with cold water from their squirter bottles during after-school practices.

Why do you do it?

Same reason I joined te Navy, fun and adventure.
