Where did you serve and what did you do?

US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) and Master Army Aviator and Paratrooper. I served in the OHARNG as an enlisted 19E Tanker, then as an Army Aviator served at the Pentagon, OSAA and OSA, Iraq x3, XVIII AIrborne Corps, Fort Rucker, AL as Deputy Commandant for ARNG and National Guard Bureau.

How are you Still Serving?

I am a full-time EMS Helicopter Pilot with MedFlight of Ohio, Senior Veteran Advisor to Venturing Crew 1944 (BSA), which conducts memorial services at military veteran funerals and other veteran-related events. I also volunteer at MAPS Air Museum and am a Special Deputy for Aviation with the Stark County Sheriff Office, and a Volunteer Recruiting Assistant with the OHARNG, mainly because my son and daughter are both in the OHARNG and they volunteer me for everything!

Why do you do it?

Because after being a Boy Scout and 33 years of Army Service, continued service to my nation, state and community is as natural as breathing!
