Where did you serve and what did you do?

USMC 2005-2011 camp Pendleton, CA. TQ Iraq, (OEF/OIF) Logistics, Suacide awareness prevention officer

How are you Still Serving?

I currently serve as the Commander of VFW Post 7243, Captain of District 4 honor guard, and the Director of Veteran Affairs for the American PTSD Society. I exercise all the knowledge, skills, and leadership. I instill motivation and initiative to all members of the community completing our mission directive of serving veterans, family, and community; through mental wellness, physical treatment, with utilizing alternatives to drug or talk therapy. Moreover, I continue to provide a recreational and supportive establishment for veterans and family members, and all while servicing the community.

Why do you do it?

I do it because I believe in service after service. My service didn’t end just because I took off my uniform, my service just moved to servicing the community, fellow veterans and family alike. Up keeping to the highest of military standards of the past and present. While being a role model for the future.
