I served in Japan on the USS Independence (CV62), PSD Lemoore, CA, VFA-94 NAS Lemoore, CA, Millington, TN, VFA-115 NAS Lemoore, CA, MEPS Sacramento, CA, USS Momsen (DDG92) Everett, WA, Naval Hospital Oak Harbor NAS Whidbey Island, WA… Then USS Retirement

How are you Still Serving?

I am currently the Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 8905 trying to do all that I can to bring in more Veterans via online platforms, helping with recruiting efforts, helping host events at our VFW in Cypress, TX.. Talking to as many Veterans I can notice in the community.

Why do you do it?

I do it first and foremost because someone noticed that I was lacking something in my life after I retired from the Navy and so now I spread the word and invite Veterans and people to our Post, because you just never know what people are going through.
