Where did you serve and what did you do?

Served 25 years in the Navy as both senior enlisted and officer. Desert Storm veteran and retired as XO of SIMA Guantanamo Bay Cuba.

How are you Still Serving?

I serve my community in many ways as a volunteer. I serve as a: 311 Neighborhood Liaison Adult Literacy Tutor Town Watch Volunteer Veterans Advocate I also serve as a COVID-19 Community Response Captain for the City of Philadelphia. I am responsible for getting accurate information to my community regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. I also refer community members to appropriate resources.

Why do you do it?

The military taught me to serve a cause greater than myself. The military taught mea lot of skills that I can bring into my community to make it a better place to live.
