Where did you serve and what did you do?

USAF April 1971-April 1975, 1 year at electronics training school, Keesler AFB, Mississippi. 1 year assignment at Kunsan Korea repairing Inertial Navigation computers in f-4 phantom jets, (several months of that time at Kadena, Okinawa (same job). The remainder of my time was at Mather AFB, Rancho Cordova, CA repairing navigator training stations on the then new T-43 aircraft.

How are you Still Serving?

Today I am the president of the San Benito County Historical Society (past 4-5 years) and an active member of the Monterey Viejo Chapter of E Clampus Vitus, a men’s historical organization.

Why do you do it?

It feels good to support the local community with local historical information at both the local museum and the San Benito County Historical Park where in addition to several historic buildings moved there, we have an impressive collection of old tractors and farm equipment.
