Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the Marines as an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting technician, otherwise known as Crash Fire Rescue.

Tell us how you’re giving back to your community.

I am the Wyoming Department Service Officer. I help veterans discover what benefits they may be eligible for, and assist them with filing claims with VA.

Why do you do it?

Since I separated from the Marines in 2007 I have been trying to find something that gave me a similar sense of purpose. I have found that as a VFW Service Officer, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve others who have also served.
