Where did you serve and what did you do?

VFW Post 6018 hosted a Baby Shower event called Operation Bottom Cover where we supplied diapers, baby wipes, and other baby items to over 70 military families of our Adopted units on Fort Liberty NC. We also served food and played games with the families and kids. Large baby items such as cribs, car seats, and strollers were raffled off also. It was a huge event and everyone was truly appreciative of what we did.

Why do you do it?

I myself being a combat veteran do it for the love of my country and for all the veterans that are serving and have served. I also do it for the love of my post community.
