Where did you serve and what did you do?

I have been a Scouting volunteer in Europe, to our local Troop, the District, and helped out with TransAtlantic Council, helping American and local youth become better world citizens. I am a VFW member and an America Legion member and help out with events for both organizations when I can. Following retirement from active duty, I worked for US Army Europe's 7th Army Training Command for almost a decade setting up training events and areas for US and Allied service members, across Europe and Africa. A fantastic job, ensuring US service members train safely, to standard, and with Allies.

How are you Still Serving?

Although now fully retired from government service, I am still a member of both the VFW and AL and a Scouting volunteer in Europe, Africa, the US, and Asia.

Why do you do it?

There is nothing better than seeing a youth master a life skill, while working side-by-side with our international partners.
