Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in Kandahar, Afghanistan, as a combat engineer. My primary responsibility was to clear the roads of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and mines. Additionally, we were responsible for convoy operations and ensuring the security of convoys.

How are you Still Serving?

As proud Veterans Advocate in applying for the benefits they rightfully earned and fought for, not just for themselves, but also for their families. Additionally, I advocate for Veterans within the VA hospital, including the Veterans Benefits Administration. I’m also prepared to help Veterans complete any necessary paperwork to obtain the government-promised benefits. Together, we effectively overcome bureaucratic obstacles and work collaboratively to achieve our goals!

Why do you do it?

I firmly believe that assisting my fellow veterans in overcoming the challenges they face back home is both a moral obligation and a privilege. With the alarming number of over 22 veterans taking their own lives daily, we urgently need all the support we can muster. These veteran benefits not only sustain our lives but also provide us with access to more comprehensive care for our service-connected medical conditions. I cannot in good conscience ignore this crisis and pretend that our situation is not as dire as it truly is!
