Assistant Veterans outreach: Disability Claims, Organize community events to raise funds to assist Veterans

Why do you do it?

I met a 96 year old Korean War veteran and for many months I paid his and his wife’s lunch bill. One day the bartender told the veteran I was paying. I then was advised the veteran had difficulty in his home falling down to move from his basement to the upper level to use bathroom. I then offered the veteran assistance by asking the bar patrons to offer FREE home improvements. We raised over 10k in home improvements and myself and volunteers received a MD Congresswomen Delaney Citations for community service and I along with Veteran were featured on local Washington DC WUSA news 9.
