Where did you serve and what did you do?
1969-1973 Air Force Vietnam and Offutt AFB, Bellevue, Nebraska. First I was an education specialist with the Defense Language Institute and served in Vietnam as an instructor of Vietnamese personnel teaching English as a 2nd language. At Offutt AFB I worked in photography lab developing reconisance film by spy planes.
How are you #StillServing?
I document and photograph veteran cemetery markers in my area where I live in Plymouth, Minnesota. (Suburb of Minneapolis.)
Why do you do it?
I enjoy the beauty and tranquility of a cemetery. As a history major in college, I have an avid love of American history and the veterans who served to keep us free. Also, as a long time genealogist, I find it rewarding to document for others where their loved one’s are buried.
