Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in Vietnam (1966-67) & (1967-68) as a hydraulic mechanic on USMC helicopters with the 1st Marine Air Wing.

How are you Still Serving?

I joined the VFW in 1969 as an annual member, becoming a life member in 1985 and a bronze legacy life member in 2023. I continue serving with the VFW to help fellow veterans with their life after service along with ensuring they are receiving the benefits they have earned and deserve.

Why do you do it?

I have always had the need to serve. I ensure that I continue to serve by helping the VFW be the best it can be along with ensuring that the members that I encounter to get the benefits they deserve. I also want to ensure that my Post is always putting its best foot forward.
