Where did you serve and what did you do?

We formed the Calhoun County Veterans Organization in order to ensure there would be a Veterans Day Parade in Calhoun County, Alabama every year to honor our local Veterans. I spent almost 3 yrs in Iraq as an MWR coordinator in support of our men and women on foreign soil.

How are you Still Serving?

I am the chairperson for the CCVO and work with all the local civic and veterans organizations to meet the needs of our veterans.

Why do you do it?

I do it because I want the younger generation to understand the price of freedom and don’t want to take it for granted.
