Where did you serve and what did you do?

I was in the USNavy from 1992-2000. I was a postal clerk and served on the decommissioning crew for USS Canopus AS34, USS Abraham Lincoln CVN72 and at Naval Station Everett, WA.

How are you Still Serving?

I volunteer on the Lapeer County Search & Rescue team. Since 2018, we assist counties all across Michigan in locating lost or missing people.

Why do you do it?

To see the look on a parent’s face when we find their missing child is indescribable. On the other hand, we help families find closure when the results aren’t as good.
