Where did you serve and what did you do?

28 years in uniform, MOSs 64C/88M – 13B – 31B. Deployed to Iraq 2008-2009, retired as an E7 Battalion Operations SFC and Master Gunner.

How are you Still Serving?

I work for the Federal Gov’t as a DA civilian. I work at an installation that primarily does R&D for weapons and weapons systems supporting the warfighters every day.

Why do you do it?

I bleed green. It is hard to get the military lifestyle out of your system after 28 years. Even though I am not in a formation, using my military experience to help the engineers have a better understanding of how these items will be utilized makes me feel like I am still doing my part.
