Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in Kansas, Maryland, Korea and Germany. I started out as a wheel vehicle repairer and then switched my MOS to 92A and worked in supply.

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

My beagle, Minnie is 17yrs old and may not be a licensed therapy dog but she is to me. When I’m stressed or high anxiety I can always count on her to make me feel better by either going for a walk or petting her or her being goofy or cuddly. She is my loyal true consistent companion. Without her love, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do to help other Veterans and keep serving.

Why do you do it?

I want to keep serving because it makes me feel better. I learned that when you take the focus off of your own troubles and focus on helping others it truely does make you feel better. Chances are the fellow veteran may be having the same issues as you and now you learn that you’re not alone.
