Where did you serve and what did you do?

I joined the US Air Force in 1975. I was stationed in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma. In addition I spent a lot of time Temporary Duty in Nevada and Florida. My seven plus years overseas included Germany, England, Holland, Canada and Iceland. I was fortunate enough to be selected and participate in four World Wide Weapons Meets “Gun Smoke and William Tell”. I retired from the Air Force in 1996 at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK.

How are you Still Serving?

Currently I am a member of the VFW, American Legion, Sons of the American Revolution and participate in Wreaths across America yearly. I serve as the Service Officer for my local Legion post and assist our Service Officer at the VFW. I am also an active member of our local Honor Guard.

Why do you do it?

My service never stopped. Just because I don’t wear the uniform anymore, doesn’t mean i can’t help my fellow veterans out there.
