Why do you do it?

I was once told by an older veteran that in today’s world there are too many takers and not enough givers. His words struck me as being so true and I should do whatever I can to be a giver not only to my family, but also my community. The rewards are meeting and assisting many veterans and community members which are becoming life long friendships.
