Where did you serve and what did you do?

I am a combat Marine Veteran who served in the 1st Marine Division in Desert Storm as an O331 Machine Gunner.

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

My service dog, Axl, from the American Vet Dog foundation assists me with my PTSD and lower extremity immobility.

Why do you do it?

Because I must move on to provide context and mentorship to the next generation of warrior and to the civilian types who need to comprehend why to support the troops. I and Al also provide education and fund raising of service animals through veteran support organizations.
