How are you Still Serving?

I volunteer with Ride Connection to assist our seniors and especially our veterans with transportation. I volunteer with 2 committees pertaining to Tri-met budgeting, and Washington County Disability, Aging, and Veteran’s Services (DAV) Equity. I put out toys for the neighborhood children.

Why do you do it?

We are all going to be Senior Citizens one day if not already. Our elders took care of us, and we need to take care of them. Many of our veterans need rides beyond just their healthcare needs. We need more volunteers to help our seniors live a life with as much freedoms as possible.
