Where did you serve and what did you do?

I attended a Congressional Thanksgiving Veterans Event I was requested to attend as a special guest with Governor Bill Lee in Nashville, TN in November 2025. I helped the governor and his wife along with a local nonprofit veteran organization Operation Stand Down who hosted the event; passed out 250 thanksgiving holiday food baskets and I also took a picture with the Governor and his wife with the local Nashville news channel for the event.

How are you Still Serving?

I attend veteran events sponsored by Wounded Warrior project and I also assist veterans in my community with guidance on their benefits and services they are trying to apply for regularly.

Why do you do it?

The oath we swore to our country doesn’t stop after we take off the uniform. The process can continue by finding ways to integrate and positively contribute to our communities.
