Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served 14 years in the United States Army, with three combat deployments to the middle east. Throughout my service, I worked in leadership and operational roles focused on mission readiness, team development, and accountability under high-stress environments. My time in uniform taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of service before self.

How are you Still Serving?

Today, I continue to serve my community as Post Commander of the American Legion Ball-Correal Post 101 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I work to support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through advocacy, community events, fundraising, and outreach. I am actively involved in creating programs that give back to the local community, supporting youth initiatives, honoring veterans, and ensuring the Legion remains a place of service, camaraderie, and support for all.

Why do you do it?

I do it because service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. I’ve seen firsthand how much veterans and communities need connection, support, and someone willing to step up. Giving back keeps the values I learned in the military alive, honors those who served beside me, and helps ensure no one feels forgotten or alone.
