Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in Al Asad airbase in Iraq. We were the security on the base.

How are you Still Serving?

I got diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2022. Since then I have been a big advocate for veterans to go to either American Legion, VFW, or DAV to help with their claims and NOT to these law firms that will take a chunk of their money. I am part of the American Legion and VFW, serving as the Senior Vice Commander at the American Legion.

Why do you do it?

The younger generation of vets need to realize that the VFW is there for them, and not just a place that serves cheap drinks. We are here for a lot more. We need to let them know that without them, we would not exist.
