Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the Air National Guard for 3 years and joined the Army and served for 24 years. I was a Flight Medic in the Air National Guard and then a Combat Medic/Surgical Technician in the Army. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 and Iraq in 2009.

How are you Still Serving?

I am currently serving as the Senior Vice Commander for the Eufaula Memorial VFW Post 5850 and also the Training Officer for the Barbour County Search & Rescue of Alabama .

Why do you do it?

I feel that I have learned valuable skills while serving that can benefit my local community and those who are trying to establish these organization.
