Where did you serve and what did you do?

My husband and I (auxiliary members and officers) coordinated a breakfast for teachers during teacher appreciation week at Riverside Elementary School in Orlando, FL. This event was sponsored by our auxiliary at post 2093.

How are you Still Serving?

I am looking forward to running this year's school supply drive and chairing the angel tree again. We adopted two families at my school last year during the holidays and I am hoping to do the same this year.

Why do you do it?

VFW 2093 really helped me through a difficult time in my life and I feel that community outreach is so important to our organization. Additionally, I enjoy volunteering for VFW because it's my way of giving back to our community and to the veterans.
