Where did you serve and what did you do?
I served in the 82nd Airborne 325th Infantry. I am a Desert Storm veteran. I am also a disabled veteran.
How are you #StillServing?
I operate a nonprofit called Black Horse Forge (BHF). BHF instructs veterans, active-duty military, first responders and their supporters in the art and craft of blacksmithing with the goal of providing a sense of accomplishment, mental and physical well-being, and the knowledge and experience to continue the craft in their own communities.
Why do you do it?
As a soldier, we are given obstacles to overcome every day. I decided to be part of the solution for dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.
No soldier left behind. The military is a family. I will never let my brothers and sisters fight the demons that come along alone. We stand together, we fight together and we win together.
