Where did you serve and what did you do?

I have served on active duty with everyone, except space force, which also includes, Merchant Marine, NOAA and FBI. Retired 22 years US Naval Chaplain Reserve. Then went 22 more years with Civil Air Patrol supporting Air Force missions.

Tell us how you’re giving back to your community.

. I am currently a County Supervisor, and chair the County Health Board for the last four years. Of course, VFW and American Legion and numerous community programs. Also from retirement, an active Lutheran Pastor.

Why do you do it?

I learned early on as an Air Force dependent, the higher calling of God and Country and the value of Duty, Honor and Commitment.
