Where did you serve and what did you do?
I served in the U.S. Army on active duty for over 30 years. I entered the Army as a Forward Observer (13F) and spent a majority of my career as a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Crewman (13M). During the last 12 years, I had the privilege of leading Army organizations at the battalion and brigade level and serving within staff elements at brigade and above. Having the privilege of leading America's sons and daughters is still one of the greatest responsibilities I have been entrusted with.
How are you Still Serving?
Today I continue to serve by volunteering with veteran organizations that support our veterans and our communities. Some of the organizations I volunteer with include VFW Post #5263, Warriors for Freedom Foundation, Folds of Honor, and Wounded Warrior Project.
Why do you do it?
I enjoy volunteering because it provides me a sense of purpose where I continued to develop relationships with like-minded people such as veterans. The teamwork and sense of belonging are important to me.
