Where did you serve and what did you do?

I joined the US Army June 1974. The next twenty years Went rather quickly.in1977 I found myself as the OPS NCO in C Co, 1st Bn 9th Inf, 2nd Inf Div. When we reported for DMZ Duty things continued. By the time I retired from active duty I had served in Europe, Korea, Rabat, Morocco, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Germany and one trip to Cairo, Egypt.

How are you Still Serving?

I am 67 1/2 old. I am a member of VFW Post 10281 in Vine Grove, KY. I serve as the 10281 Post as Post Chaplain. I also was elected as VFW Dept of KY, 4TH District Chaplain. I minister to those who ask. I am called occasional occasions. Our District has eight Posts.

Why do you do it?

Giving back to those who may be on hard times is important to me.
