Where did you serve and what did you do?

22 years in the Navy. Mostly in Asia.

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

I have no children and my girls, Asteria and Freya are my family. I fortunately do not have a need for a service animal. I did meet a wonderful Veteran who does have a service dog. When I met him, he had a dog training facility and provided individual and group training as well as some AKC certifications. He was also able to certify emotional support animals. Freya was trained and certified by this Veteran. Freya and Asteria not only provide me with support but many others who are in my social circle that are not able to have or care for pets but enjoy that companionship.

Why do you do it?

Because serving those who served is my passion.
