Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served 31 years and have several deployments to include a Combat Medical Badge with a Star, Bronze Star and many other awards. I am a recipient of the Order of Military Medical Merit. I am a physician assistant and love bringing quality medicine to Troops and their families.

How are you Still Serving?

I have retired and own an urgent care clinic and we serve the entire community but we are one of the few clinics who take tricare and VA. I love ensuring that our military continue to get the care I gave while I was active duty! I am always available to my military patients even when the clinic is closed.

Why do you do it?

Because I have walked the walk and understand what we give up and I want to ensure that our military and their family will always have a quality health care facility to seek care. We opened up our services to primary care specifically because of the DHA restructuring.
