Where did you serve and what did you do?

Served around the world for 20 years of faithful service in the US Marine Corps. One of my last adventures was during the Gulf War, and my last tour of duty was 3rd Medical Battalion as the Motor Transport Maintenance Chief.

How are you Still Serving?

As an active member of the VFW Cooleemee-Mocksville Post 1119, Cooleemee, NC, numbers keep me going, so I took on the job of Quartermaster for the Post. Proud of our only fundraising, VFW Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. It just doesn't mean selling food; it feeds the community and brings people together to talk, including Veterans in their daily lives. Very proactive in the community, always promoting what the VFW truly is. Bringing awareness to the community of what combat Veterans go through and promoting and instilling awareness of Veterans Suicide through "STOP SOLDIER SUICIDE". We can make a difference, save a Vet! The life you could save, just might be closer to you than you think.

Why do you do it?

I do this not just for me, but for other Veterans. We are Veterans helping Veterans. If our country can't take care of us, we will….Semper Fi and Keeping the Faith
