My son served in the Army 2004 to 2007. Operation Iraq Freedom. He was KIA in 2007 I work with other Goldstar Families. Last month we dedicated the Woody Williams Goldstar Families Memorial Monument.

Why do you do it?

I’m a Goldstar Mother. All Goldstar Families need a peaceful place to heal and reflect. I am a lifetime VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
