Where did you serve and what did you do?

How are you #StillServing?
With donations I received from a Woman owned, Navy Veteran, company based in Norfolk VA and a North Myrtle Beach SC private charity. Today I delivered 96 hygiene kits that I created to the Myrtle Beach VA Clinic’s Volunteer Services, veteran support program. Each kit contained 2 pair of cotton socks, 2 toothbrushes, 2 tubes of toothpaste, 2 disposable razors, a bottle of body wash and a stick of deodorant, an extra 40 tubes of individual size tooth paste and 75 disposable razors was also provided. I also delivered a $50 pharmacy gift card.
From the private charity, I delivered 20 hooded sweatshirts (specifically requested by the clinic) and $150 in non-perishable food for the clinic’s veteran food bank
All told, this was a $983.00 donation to the clinic’s veteran support programs today.
The attached photo is of me, a VA Clinic volunteer (Joe Reale) and the Clinic’s Volunteer Services Manager Candy Anderson shown holding some of the hygiene kits
Why do you do it?
I do it because there are many area veterans out there less fortunate than me and if I can do something to lessen their plight, I will do my best to do so.
